Sweet Red Roses

Hey fashion blog viewers,

It’s been two whole weeks since I have last blogged but it feels like much longer. I have been dealing with some medical issues and it’s really difficult to concentrate on creating my blog posts, so I skipped a week. I missed a bunch of events I really wanted to blog and tons of new items.

I decided to blog some older goodies that I still adore to the core. I fell in love with this dress back when Kellie first put it up for sale. I have since purchased all my favorite colors and if you haven’t noticed already, red is one of those. I just enjoy watching the layers of the dress move ever so slightly with my avatar. I was going to throw a little black shrug over the top but it took away from its lovely shape.

This is really how the dress looks in-world as I don’t do any post-processing besides cropping the picture and adding a border. I want others to see the beautiful quality and design that I encounter in the creations I wear in-world. I also have decided against shadows until I get a better computer because it really looks terrible. My computer is four years old and still kicking, which is surprising but I know that one day it will shut down on me forever.

I also added this lovely necklace and earrings from Alienbear that is a special for this month. I don’t really know how long it will be for sale but it was super inexpensive. Alienbear has been making beautiful jewelry for a long time but I have just recently fallen in love with her work.

I also stole this location idea from another blog post that someone did, although she did a better job showing it off. When I decided to pay a visit to The Pixel Bean Coffeehouse, I couldn’t teleport away. The colors of the scenery are so vibrant and alive that its place I will visit again.

Give me a Malt!!!

When I saw the notecard go out for the new releases at Malt a few days ago I made a quick trip there!  And wound up with several things to blog.  Khea Karas very kindly sent me a few items to show you and I had fun as usual mixing and matching.  Her new Lorelei Vest, shown in the first picture below,  is absolutely divine!!  And it comes in so many different colors that you'll have nearly an impossible time choosing just one.  At least I did ;)  Enjoy the posts!

Oh were oh where has the time gone?

I seriously don’t know what happened this week but its already Thursday!!  Its like someone just took away the first half of the week, at least thats what its felt like!  Anyway thats my excuse for not posting yesterday   In truth I have been swamped with RL this week…but in a good way, so I guess thats a plus.  I have a ton of posts to get caught up on but wanted to tell you about a very soon to open event that I’ve been lucky enough to get to blog for.  Its the I <3 Originals Fair!  I’m currently hopping around the shops on the sim at the fair picking up goodies to blog and show you the next couple of days.  I am very much against content theft and am very excited about this particular event.

Presenting... KittyCats

Waves to everyone! I hope everyone is doing well in the blogosphere. Today, I have something special to present besides the typical fashion blog post. Most of us that have been in Second Life a while are familiar with the "breedable" game (animals that you can breed and sell). Some of the previous breedables that have been created were chicken, turtles, bunnies, horses, etc. At this very moment, there are also other breedable animals that are being produced. If you have ever entered this market, you will quickly find out that it can be an exciting and new experience but can also become very overwhelming, fast. However, it really doesn't have to be.

There is where the KittyCats come in to the picture. I applied to become a beta tester for this adorable animal a month ago and it really as been an exciting process. The KittyCats creation and beta team have worked hard to produce an amazing product that I know people will adore from the start. The creation team set out to create a breedable that would be different and unique. Since most of the creation team had been owners of past breedables, they really understand the downfalls and issues associated with breedables from the consumer/breeder preceptive. So, they decided to work together to create something that many more people would enjoy for not only the breeder but also the pet owner.

Yes, you can breed these KittyCats and enjoy the breeding process but a really neat option is that you can also turn your KittyCat into a permanent pet which requires no feeding, breeding and it will never go to kitty heaven by purchasing and applying the "perma-kit" to the specific KittyCat you want to keep forever. This is perfect for the individual who really wants to have a KittyCat but doesn't want to spend the money to upkeep these adorable creatures.

As I stated earlier, the KittyCats are set for release soon and you can receive a invite to the preview event this week by joining the in-world group: KittyCats Addicts and looking in the notices (you can also look up "KittyCats Resident" profile and check their groups to find it). I went to the sim this weekend to snap a couple pictures because the place is absolutely lovely!

The place really looks that beautiful. I didn't even use shadows to take these pictures since my four year old computer acts up when I try.

Don't you just want to jump into the picture and take a stroll down that boardwalk.

This is the center of the KittyCats shopping center where you can buy KittyCat food, beds, accessories and of course the KittyCats themselves.

And of course, what would be the point of this post if I were to not show you the KittyCats you will soon get to purchase and love. This is me and my darlings relaxing by the fireplace. The textures and animations on these cats are really amazing.

The KittyCats team really put a lot of thought and effort into creating something that will not disappoint. The team did a wonderful job taking in all the input from the beta testers and implementing the many features that you will soon discover. Of course, there will always be someone after the release who will likely find a bug/issue and the team is dedicated to taking into consideration any ideas and suggestions that new KittyCat owners may have. I could go on and on about these KittyCats but I will let you find out more for yourself during the preview event.
