Metro-Sexy!

Tableau Vivant is a new venture from Aida Ewing and M4ri1yn Magic....and it's already become one of my new favourite stores!

The fashion is geared towards the men of Second Life, showing that it's ok to be metrosexual. In fact - it's damn sexy!!!!

But that doesn't mean we ladies can't slip into it too. Slip a bra underneath an Aeneas Shirt and it's metro-sexy!!! The pants can be worn too as they don't have the obvious *cough* package shading most men's pants have, so throw on the Gatsby Pants in black and you have a stunning outfit. The chair is the Zombie Popcorn Hunt gift and comes in various avatar sizes and has 6 built in poses.

But it's not just fashion at Tableau Vivant. You will also find Pose Props, which are a definate weakness of mine. The Cage Stage comes in male and female versions and it's just fabulous for showing off the Galveston Top and Claw Pants.

It has 6 built in poses and will add so much to your photography or blogging as the poses are perfect for showing off your clothes - like the Orestes Shirt and Gatsby Pants in grey.

Blue Belle Beauty

Hi everyone,

It's been over two month since I last blogged and so much as been going on in SL and RL but I won't bore you with the details. I recently got a new computer which means I also have a fab graphics card which means I can now blog with shadows and my computer doesn't crash when taking a picture. It hasn't been an easy path to get shadows working correctly but when I did, my world has transformed for the better and blogging will be even more exciting. I get to show you how beautiful SL can really look.

In this blogpost, I am highlighting the beautiful new skin called Gaia by [PXL] that is available at the Skin and Shape Expo. The event is still going until May 20, so hurry on down and pick up this beautiful skin. There are six different skin tones and I am wearing the sunkissed version with cat eyes and a layer of cherry lip color. Each base skin contains 3 different eye styles, 3 eyebrow colors and 3 cleavage enhancements and a freckle layer. You also get 2 hairbase styles plus a bald head skin. Each combo is available in the base skin folder and that comes out to 18 skins in the base pack. You can also purchase eye and lip makeup in single or packs to personalize your skin even further. ...a Neko? Even if you aren't you can still wear LoveCats!!

Last winter, I was hired as a model for LoveCats. After working there for a few months, my SL time got a lot busier with blogging so I unfortunately had to step down as a model. However, LoveCat Thei has kindly allowed me to blog for her! I just want to say, something I noticed right from the start, that LoveCat's shop may be targeted to all the nekos and other furries in SL, but omg...her designs are incredible for wearing everyday too!!

The detail she puts into each piece is amazing. Its quite obvious the amount of time and effort that she enjoys putting into her work. And that she loves her job! You have to see her designs for yourself to see what I mean. Even for those who don't want to be a Cat or other form of animal in SL, you can still very much appreciate the intricacy of her work and quality it will add to your wardrobe. The pieces are great for mix and matching for models! Before I keep going on all night, let me show you what I mean with one of her newest releases for women.

Hugo's Designer For a Day Contest!

Hugo's Design is giving all would be designers and latex lovers a once in a life time opportunity! We want to make you a Hugo's Designer for a Day!

Do you have an amazing idea for sexy latex lingerie that you have seen no place else. Maybe you have the most amazing thoughts about what would be the next hot thing in latex, but no photoshop skill! We want to take your fantasy latex outfit and make it a reality!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

1. All designs should be original. No taking a photo off the internet and submitting it in its entirety as your design.
A. Original Sketches are the prefered method of communication for your designs.
B. However we do understand that not everyone can draw. You can submit several images/photographs to complete your look. If you like a top from one latex piece, the skirt of another, and a corset of a third. You must submit all 3 images with clear instructions and details on your vision for the outfit.
C. If you are proficient enough with photoshop you may cut and paste the pieces together to form one image and include notes.

2. All participants should submit a notecard that includes your original sketch, images, notes and a short paragraph on why Hugo's Design should pick you as their Designer for a Day.

3. Notecards should be submitted to Lexie Jansma labeled as follows: "Hugo's Design Designer Contest: Your Name"

2. The winning design will be an interpretation by Erik Hugo of the winners design. There are some things that are not possible in SL and there for may need to be altered. 3. Original sketches and images should be high quality 1024 x 1024 would be best. However we do realize that images taken from other places may not reach this quality.

4. 2 entries per contest participant.

Hugo's Design is celebrating the recently created Hugo's Angels Group on Flickr and the amazing artistic talent of our patrons! We have decided to host a monthly photography contest! We want to see your original, interesting, and unique talents in styling, composition, and photography using Hugo's Design Latex!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

1. Each month one outfit will be chosen as the outfit for that months contest. It can be used in any of the available colors. This outfit will be announced on the Blog, as part of the Flickr Group, and as well in the store.

2. Theme, styling, backgrounds, props, and photography are all up to the participant.

3. Professional photographers may be used. Please make sure to credit them.

4. You must JOIN the Hugo's Angels Flickr Group and post your entry to the group:

5. All photos should be 1024 x 1024 or 2048 x 1024.

ISSD Model of the Month

Iconically Sexy Shopping District, abbreviated ISSD, is thrilled to announce a new contest that will take place each month. ISSD Model Of The Month Contest is a photo contest that will challenge all of the participants to impeccably style themselves from head to toe, incorporating designers located within ISSD, to fit a particular theme.

This contest is open to both male and female particpants. ISSD offers a large variety of clothing, skins, hair, shoes, accessories, and poses for men and women, ranging from established brands to up and coming designers.

Deadlines:
Contest entries will be accepted April 1st - 15th.

Each month these dates will remain the same. A formal announcement will be made on the first of each month with a new theme. Contest entries will be accepted from the first to the fifteenth of each month.

Contest winners will be announced on April 17th.

The top three contest winners will be announced at a party held on the third Sunday of each month. The time of the party will be announced at a later date. If you enter the contest, you are not required to attend. However attendance is encouraged to support the contest and fellow entrants.

Hey everyone!

This is going to be a short one because it's late here and I need sleep really bad. I just wanted to highlight an fashion shopping event called "Pure Juice" that is a place where designers have come together to showcase their creations in one place. I am sure you already know what is available by scouring the feeds, but I had to show off some of my favorite pieces before the event starts later today.

"Cool Beans" have put together this lovely ensemble which includes this flowery dress and pumps. I could only imagine my avatar walking in the park with this outfit on. It's the perfect dress for spring. I also wanted to highlight this hair by "Head Mistress". Just a warning, there are no single colors for sale, only a fat pack. However, you don't need to worry because the fat pack costs less than than a typical single pack of hair. Caroline's Jewelry also put up this one of a kind necklace and earring set for the event. I have been a fan of her jewelry for the past year and I have only seen constant improvement on her new work. Last but not least, the first pose is from a really cool shop called "HelaMiyo". This is the most tame of her poses because I am a boring girl but she has some really interesting pose packs available at this event.

I was too tired and lazy to find a location so I decided to use my own land for the pictures. Like I said, the event starts in the next couple of hours and of course it will be packed but you have until March 26 to visit the location.

Sweet Red Roses

Hey fashion blog viewers,

It’s been two whole weeks since I have last blogged but it feels like much longer. I have been dealing with some medical issues and it’s really difficult to concentrate on creating my blog posts, so I skipped a week. I missed a bunch of events I really wanted to blog and tons of new items.

I decided to blog some older goodies that I still adore to the core. I fell in love with this dress back when Kellie first put it up for sale. I have since purchased all my favorite colors and if you haven’t noticed already, red is one of those. I just enjoy watching the layers of the dress move ever so slightly with my avatar. I was going to throw a little black shrug over the top but it took away from its lovely shape.

This is really how the dress looks in-world as I don’t do any post-processing besides cropping the picture and adding a border. I want others to see the beautiful quality and design that I encounter in the creations I wear in-world. I also have decided against shadows until I get a better computer because it really looks terrible. My computer is four years old and still kicking, which is surprising but I know that one day it will shut down on me forever.

I also added this lovely necklace and earrings from Alienbear that is a special for this month. I don’t really know how long it will be for sale but it was super inexpensive. Alienbear has been making beautiful jewelry for a long time but I have just recently fallen in love with her work.

I also stole this location idea from another blog post that someone did, although she did a better job showing it off. When I decided to pay a visit to The Pixel Bean Coffeehouse, I couldn’t teleport away. The colors of the scenery are so vibrant and alive that its place I will visit again.

Presenting... KittyCats

Waves to everyone! I hope everyone is doing well in the blogosphere. Today, I have something special to present besides the typical fashion blog post. Most of us that have been in Second Life a while are familiar with the "breedable" game (animals that you can breed and sell). Some of the previous breedables that have been created were chicken, turtles, bunnies, horses, etc. At this very moment, there are also other breedable animals that are being produced. If you have ever entered this market, you will quickly find out that it can be an exciting and new experience but can also become very overwhelming, fast. However, it really doesn't have to be.

There is where the KittyCats come in to the picture. I applied to become a beta tester for this adorable animal a month ago and it really as been an exciting process. The KittyCats creation and beta team have worked hard to produce an amazing product that I know people will adore from the start. The creation team set out to create a breedable that would be different and unique. Since most of the creation team had been owners of past breedables, they really understand the downfalls and issues associated with breedables from the consumer/breeder preceptive. So, they decided to work together to create something that many more people would enjoy for not only the breeder but also the pet owner.

Yes, you can breed these KittyCats and enjoy the breeding process but a really neat option is that you can also turn your KittyCat into a permanent pet which requires no feeding, breeding and it will never go to kitty heaven by purchasing and applying the "perma-kit" to the specific KittyCat you want to keep forever. This is perfect for the individual who really wants to have a KittyCat but doesn't want to spend the money to upkeep these adorable creatures.

As I stated earlier, the KittyCats are set for release soon and you can receive a invite to the preview event this week by joining the in-world group: KittyCats Addicts and looking in the notices (you can also look up "KittyCats Resident" profile and check their groups to find it). I went to the sim this weekend to snap a couple pictures because the place is absolutely lovely!

The place really looks that beautiful. I didn't even use shadows to take these pictures since my four year old computer acts up when I try.

Don't you just want to jump into the picture and take a stroll down that boardwalk.

This is the center of the KittyCats shopping center where you can buy KittyCat food, beds, accessories and of course the KittyCats themselves.

And of course, what would be the point of this post if I were to not show you the KittyCats you will soon get to purchase and love. This is me and my darlings relaxing by the fireplace. The textures and animations on these cats are really amazing.

The KittyCats team really put a lot of thought and effort into creating something that will not disappoint. The team did a wonderful job taking in all the input from the beta testers and implementing the many features that you will soon discover. Of course, there will always be someone after the release who will likely find a bug/issue and the team is dedicated to taking into consideration any ideas and suggestions that new KittyCat owners may have. I could go on and on about these KittyCats but I will let you find out more for yourself during the preview event.

Girl By The Sea

Hey guys and girls! It's nice to be back for another week after a crazy weekend which I will not get into on this post. It's so relaxing to put together an outfit, find a beautiful location and just be creative in general. Today, I kept it quite simple because I really wanted to focus on the outfit.

I just happened to be checking out my blog feed reader and got lucky because a new post for G Field's dress popped up. I became so ecstatic because I am a huge fan of the designers work since I bought my first outfit from her over a year ago. She never fails to surprise me. If you love girly and flirty dress wear, you will want to rush by to see her shop. Not only is every piece she releases incredibly beautiful but they have such detail and you can tell that Cerberus spends a lot of time to bring high quality work to her customers.

She is also selling some delightfully pretty dress shoes at the Chic Limited event. They include lovely roses on the shoe that can be changed different colors and can also be turned invisible if you want to wear them plain. I thought they would look perfect with the dress so I had to buy a couple pairs. You can never go wrong with her items. You can always expect that every item she makes will be of the same detail and craftsmanship.

I have also been meaning to check out the location in the blog post and finally got around to it. This is a photo bloggers heaven! They have everything from a winter sim to a farm sim where you can take pictures to your hearts content. Every sim has been crafted so that you really feel like your strolling through the woods or hiking up a high hill. The sims also have dance balls and quiet sit locations throughout for couples and friends to relax and enjoy the view. Check this place out!

Inex Hax, owner & designer for Peqe, previously known as Fumé, has some of the most beautiful, high quality, crafted clothing I've had the pleasure of wearing in SL. Hey all! I am back again for another round of fashion blog posting for this week. During a fashion shopping event this weekend at one of my favorite new shopping locations called Euphoria, I discovered this sweet and classic black and white dress. When I see something I love, I don't think twice. I grabbed that outfit as fast as my mouse could click.

I have been wearing this dress all week, so I decided this was the "look of the day"... I mean "look of the week". Then of course, one of my favorite skin designers decided it was time to release this oh so sweet skin. When I put it on, I started letting out squeals of delight. It is one of the youngest looking skins I own. I like to alternate between skins all the time and I tend to like dramatic differences between younger and older looking skins. If you are in the Dutch Touch VIP paid group, you can purchase the skin for 400L. It is considered a "bare skin" with no make up included although you do get tattoo and prim eyelashes. It also includes with black, blonde and brown eyebrows and hair bases.

One of my favorite home and garden creators: Nalena Fairey is remodeling her sim and I had to take a peek. I so loved how well it's coming along that I thought it would be the perfect place to take a picture for my fashion blog post. I am kind of a home and garden collector in Second Life. I think I buy more stuff for my SL home than for my avatar. I discovered Nalena's work when she first sent out a notice in the SL House and Garden group. I teleported over there and grabbed everything in sight. Her prices are so affordable, it was hard not to buy out the entire shop. If you are a SL home and garden freak, you will want to check out her shop and sim.

I have a major soft spot for beautiful, well made, romantic designs. When I found Athene Forder's shop, *Goddess Apparel* I fell in love. She has a wide variety of styles but you can see her hand in all of them. There are many period style clothing, some silks, several masks, formal wear and even some casual clothing. Her styles are very feminine and the textures she uses are very unique to many I've seen in SL. She also has gift certificates available for purchase if you wish to give a great gift to your friend or loved one.

A couple of weeks ago I was in her shop looking around and started chatting with her. I was interested in blogging her so she told me to pick out a few items and she would send them to me. Well...the very generous woman ended up sending me more than I even asked for. So I've been blogging the outfits in separate posts. Hello Too Sexy Readers! Some of you may already know me - and lots may not. I'm SugarKane Gumbo and I am super excited to be writing for you all. I wanted to take this first post and let everyone get to know a little about me, my style, and what you can expect from my posts.

So... a little about me... I was born in SL in November 2007, and quickly fell in love with shopping and fashion. I began my blog Gumbo Glam in July 2008. I've taken some time off and on due to RL, but I am SO happy to be blogging again. You will almost always see me wearing some sort of monotone colors, and I wear everything from Every Day Casual to Haute Couture. I like an Avant Garde twist, and I'm not afraid to wear outragous designs (this is SL afterall.. anything goes) :) I value and appreciate all the designers - they make SL a beautiful place and making so many of us look absolutely wonderful. I only blog what I love, and I tend to wear the outfits I blog for 2-3 days. I'm a super friendly person so feel free to IM me anytime with any questions.

Hey everyone! My name is Arianna Earst and I am super new to the fashion blog "posting" world. I have been observing and absorbing fashion in Second Life since the days I discovered fashion blogging. I am not one to take risks, so I have been sitting by the sidelines all this time, watching all of you show off your unique styles. When I saw the "want ad" for Too Sexy fashion bloggers, I decided this is my chance to jump in. I have been contemplating creating a fashion blog for some time but I needed some kind of extrinsic motivation (ya, ya, I need to be pushed). I applied and got accepted as one of the fashion bloggers along with two other sweet and gorgeous girls: Kiki Daniels and SugarKane Gumbo.

My style in Second Life varies upon the day. Some days, I will be posting items I find at fashion events and other days, I will be posting my "look of the day". If you ever have fashion blog tips or suggestions, please feel free to IM me in-world at any time.

Enough blabbering, let's get started!

I recently learned one of my favorite shopping districts called Le.Look! decided to expand. I was interested to see what new shops were added, so I took a stroll through the new area. I love checking out new shops in SL because you never know what you are going to find. Boy, was I right! I found this super hot and classy dress at Osakki. I immediately grabbed this dress in my favorite color and decided that this is the outfit for my first fashion blog post. I also found these seamless and very well made fishnet tights at another store called Erratic. They are officially my new favorite tights.

Once, I got my outfit together, I decided I needed some kind of backdrop to show off this lovely outfit. I remembered earlier today, I visited a "new to me" sim called Caisteal. It's a sci-fi futuristic/fantasy themed sim with amazing visuals. I also discovered they have little shops amongst the awe. If you haven't been, I suggest going. You won't be disappointed.

Hello! I'm Kiki Daniels and I am very excited about the opportunity to blog for TOO SEXY Magazine! The girls and I split up what days we would bring you our own posts and my days will be Tuesday and Friday. Sooo...getting a bit of a late Tuesday start here lol, but here we go!

I currently am an instore model for -siss boom-, owned and operated by Lestat Reuven. She is a lovely boss who sends us new outfits every single day. Us being myself and my co-model, MzKay Karillion. Every day, or at least nearly every day, she puts up new outfits or older outfits from her collection at a special reduced price of 100L. They stay up for approximately 24 hours and then are exchanged for a new 2 or 3 outfits.

Props and Poses Fair 2011

The Props and Poses Fair 2011 starts on 1st January, only two more days to go until you can buy some of the best new props and poses in SL. The Fair is being organised by Epileptic Dreddmor, who created the Superhero Epilepsy Combat Syndicate to create awareness and fundraise for Epilepsy and other seizure disorders. All proceeds will go towards the Out of the Shadows Program which is part of the Epilepsy Foundation.

Pictured here are just three of the outstanding props and poses which will be on sale at the Fair. At the top is the very cool Charlie Chaplin pose pack by Gnarlic Plimpton, which comes with the bowler hat, cane and moustache, along with three different poses. Above is part of the Stumped Pose pack by {nestle my bosom}, which comes three different logs each with it's own pose. Pictured below is the Frolic Log by {Just a Pose}, which has four poses included and is decorated with some cute little birds and mushrooms.

This is a great month for fantastic halloween outfits and I have saw so many dark and wonderful designs hit the stores, one of my favorites is Fable from Evie's Closet. Being a huge fan of halloween, the minute I saw it I fell in love. Not only do you get the beautifully designed gown as pictured below but you get this very sexy and sinful lingerie set along with the ballet skirt option, so three spectacular outfits in one.

Like all Evie's Closet outfits, Fable is designed with immaculate attention to detail from the very authentic textures to each prim fitted to perfection. The main Fable gown has a striped underskirt with patches of blood in parts and a deep red silky overskirt. Finished off with a very elaborate corset top. The outfit comes with a cloak wrap and loose hood, which covers a variety of different hair styles very well and has a choice of sleeves and bodice ruffles. Fable is a definite favorite of mine as far as Halloween outfits go and with the numerous wear options making it ideal for other times of year too.

For any of you that have not yet come across The Dressing Room, it is a fabulous little store stocked full of designer items at discount prices and for the next week and a half Fishy Strawberry have added this very cool knit sweater priced at only 60L. The sweater is designed using a very grungy worn out kind of texture with holes and has added prim parts on the arms and body to give a more realistic chunky knit look. LOGO Infinity Skins

It's always a challenge finding the perfect skin to match with what you are wearing and for anyone who has visited the Infinity Skins website in the past you will know what an amazing invention it was to be able to create your own perfect skin. Recently the Body Politik rebranded under the name LOGO and the Infinity Skin website has had a complete overhaul in both appearance and content. Pictured here is a skin I had the pleasure of creating at the new website and what fun it was! Indulging in elegance with Estaria

I was looking for something elegant to slip into for a wedding I had to go to the other day, and ran across this lovely dress, Estaria from Miamai. I always love dresses from Miamai because of the detail and elegance, but this one takes the cake. It's simply stunning. It comes with gloves, a head piece, and a prim sculpted collar that really set the dress off, as well as a sculpted flower on the bodice just below the plunging neckline.

It comes in so many different colors, (I've chosen teal), that the hardest part about buying the dress is picking out which color to buy!

The back is simply stunning as well, with a peek-a-boo hole in the center of the dress for a little flirtacious and sexy side to it. You'll feel elegant from the moment you put it on! :)

Summer Gatcha Festival

Well the Albero Summer Gatcha Festival is well under way but there are still a couple of weeks left to head over there and check out the fantastic items on offer for between 20 -50L. There is everything from hair, clothing and accessories to furntiture and flowers, and so much more. Here I have put my favorite items of the festival so far and above is the gorgeous retro style bikini from Artilleri. When I first saw the Artilleri Gatcha Bikini I loved the pink version and to my absolute surprise that is the one that came out.

Next is the Charm Bikini in purple/gold whale from Doppelganger Inc. Now this really is an amazing item to get your hands on. The shape in which the bikini is cut and the detailed shadowing on the top and bottoms really makes for a high quality design. It is cute and sexy and is finished off with some little whales giving a very unique look, and for such a low price it really cannot be missed.

Finally it's the fabulous Days of the Week Panty from 5th & Oxford. As you can see here I am wearing Thursday but there is a pair for each day of the week, each in a different color. I absolutely love these so much and plan to go back there later to get the Monday pair, I really dislike Mondays so I figure wearing these cute pants will cheer it up.

It is only halfway through the summer and so far I have had so many favorite summer dresses, I really do have a great respect for SL designers as the designs just keep getting better and better but when I saw the 5th Ave dress by Mimikri I fell in love instantly with it. Designed with a halter neck top and sculpted prim skirt with the cutest pretty flowers around the bottom. This gorgeous dress has added frills under the skirt and on the top giving a very authentic look. The prim parts are all scripted to resize just as you wish and also with the option of deleting scripts after resizing making it perfect for lag reduction.

I teamed up this adorable dress with a recent hair from W&Y, which comes with attached sunglasses that you can change the color, frame and lens to make this hair perfect for wearing with numerous different outfits. Well, Dave recently created and released three new pieces including two new dresses, the Payton and the Posh, and a new swimsuit called Rhode. This dress is GORGEOUS and so versitle! Long or short, it's the perfect dress to make you feel like a goddess. The sculpted ruffle collar and sleeves are a delicate addition to the dress. Very lovely.

The minute I slipped into this suit, I fell in love. It really accentuates every curve and makes you feel so gorgeous the minute you put it on. It covers the right areas to leave enough to the imagination, but also shows just enough skin. You gotta get it! :)

One of my favorite stores in sl is most definately Modern Gypsy and after seeing some new releases on flickr I headed over there to check them out. Quite a few items caught my eye including the new skins, some very cool retro bags and of course the new summer range of clothing but my most favorite item of all was this very pretty Forever Gypsy floral dress. Quite often floral dresses are designed in soft pastel colors but what I love about the Forever Gypsy Floral dress is the vivid colors used in the textures. Above I am wearing the dress in Berry and it is also available in two other gorgeous shades. Along with this fabulous belt which is included in the purchase, the dress is designed with a sculpted skirt and arms, giving a very chic and stylish finish. The Modern Gypsy Floral Dress is without a doubt my new favorite for the summer and a real pleasure to wear.

Fleurir Summer Dress

Each year I always find a favorite summer dress and when I tried on the latest release at MNK*SHOP the very cute Fleurir Dress, it immediately became my new favorite. This gorgeous summer dress is designed using layers of soft floral textures, creating a delicate and light movement of the fabric as you walk. Above I am wearing the flexi style skirt version of the dress in pink but this dress comes with so many other options, it's hard to decide which style to wear.

Included in the purchase of the Fleuir Dress, is four different skirts including flexi and prim options in short or longer styles, two different frilled leg bottoms to add an older style look, a prim shirt bottom perfect for wearing the top with jeans or shorts and added little ribbons on the straps. There are just so many fantastic new summer designs at LeLutka right now, it's hard to know what not to buy, but the Armenia Dress was certainly not one I could leave behind and after a long decision over the color I settled for the nude. The Armenia Dress is very chic in style designed with a layered skirt and strapless bodice top. The skirt has a wide waist band in a contrasting color with a unique design at the front giving a very avant-garde look, and comes with an optional strap over the right shoulder. This gorgeous dress also comes with various layer options including a no shadow layer and is available in various fabulous colors.
